Our secretary - Glyn - is currently applying his expertise to skill to construct an absolutely fantastic schedule of activities and speakers for this winter.

October	2 rd	Fly tying – Tom Comerford – CDC emerger (FDK)
	9 th	Fly tying – Bill Davies – Pheasant tail nymph (FDK)
	16 th	Fly tying – Peter Major –Buzzer pattern (FDK)
	23 th	No meeting – half term
	30 st	Fly tying – Glyn Williams –Parachute dry fly (FDK)
November	6 th	Fly tying – Trevor Kearns - Klinkhamer (FDK)
	13 th	Guest speaker -Stephen Marsh-Smith – the work of the Wye and Usk foundation.

December	4 th	Guest speaker – Charles Jardine – part 2 of last talk!

	18 th	Annual Quiz night with nibbles and refreshments
	25th	Happy Christmas – Hope you find a nice new rod under the Christmas Tree !!
January	1st	Happy New Year --- College is closed
	8 th	Fly tying – Glyn Williams – Appetizer (FDK)
	15 th	Practice tying for Annual Competition – John Bergdahl to set patterns. Novice and Open classes (FDK)
	22 rd	Guest speaker – Colin Harvey – demonstration followed by all to tie as per the demonstration (FDK)
	29 th	Practice tying for Annual Competition (FDK)
February	5 th	Annual competition – plus, a collection of entries for the annual photographic competition to be displayed then handed in to Roy M. for judging. (FDK)
	12 th	Half Term - College closed
	19 th	Auction viewing and general fly tying night - bring your kit (FDK)
	26th	Guest Speaker – Steve Cooper of Cookshill – “wet flies with a twist” PLUS – fly tying materials for sale. A foaming Greg is going to be rearranged !!
March	4 th	AGM and presentations and awards (also nibbles and refreshments provided by committee members). All to attend if possible please.
